Experimental Treatment A Go Now!

Hello Everyone!

It seems like I haven't wrote for awhile. I have been doing very well the last couple months. Praise GOD! Donna, Judah & I even got to go to Williams Lake for a visit last weekend. We had a great time. Donna has been doing better lately, but the doctor would like her to put on a few more pounds before the next visit. Donna just had an ultra-sound & doctor check-up & all is well. Praise GOD! Judah is doing good & is enjoying playing with his cousins who are staying at my mom & dad's this week. It has been good for him to play with other kids as he does not get to very often.

Donna is flying to Grand Prairie tomorrow & will be making her way home to High Level to get our taxes done. She will be gone for one week. Judah is not going & will be without Donna & I for the week as I am in the Cancer Agency for 2 weeks starting today. I know he will do fine with my mom & dad for the week. They will bring him in to visit me when they can.

My antibodies were a lot lower with my last blood test which opened the door for me to take the experimental treatment now. I chose to take it & do not know whether it is the right decision or not, but I will continue to pray & seek GOD concerning that. I am thakful for His mercy & grace He has shown me thus far. My blood counts were starting to come up on their own, but the cancer cells were increasing with my white cell count. Please pray for the curse of Leukemia to be broken off of me & that GOD would open up opportunity to witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the doctors, nurses, patients & others while I am here. Please continue to pray for Donna & Judah. Fear is constantly trying to bring doubts. I thank GOD that He has helped us to recognize the spirit of fear when it comes. Thank GOD he hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of love, power & a sound mind. He is our peace. Amen!

Thank you for your continued prayers & support. May GOD bless you & keep you in His loving care.

All the Best
&
GOD Bless

ITS A NO GO FOR EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT.

The hospital called Wednesday and informed me that I had to many anti-bodies against the diptheria virus so they would be unable to do the experimental treatment for me. That door is closed now.

I will continue to ask GOD for direction on what's next. He is the Great Deliverer and is able to free me from this curse called Leukemia. Please pray with me concerning what doors to walk through and recognize the ones I should not enter regarding alternative treatment options. I desire GOD's way, not mine. My life belongs to Him. I know He wants to bless me with freedom from the curse of disease and bring me back into health.

I don't believe GOD is finished with me yet. There are lots of people in this world that need to hear the good news that Jesus died for their sins and made a way for them where there was no way. Jesus is the Way the Truth & the Life & no one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Repentance is not old fasioned and is still a necessary part of salvation today. Repentance means to turn from sin and to GOD. GOD knows it is my desire to proclaim that to as many people as I can, and I need to be here to do it.

Lord God hear the cry of my heart and restore me back to health according to your will. LORD be glorified through me I pray. My life is in Your hands, and I will love You and praise all my days.

GOD bless,
Jeremy

WHAT'S NEXT?

Donna & I met with the doctor again & we read over the experimental drug treatment info & I decided to go ahead with it. The drug is a toxin from the diptheria virus that is attracted to the receptors on Leukemia cells. It is suppose to go after the receptors & destroy the Leukemia cells, leaving room for healthy cells to grow (if I have any) or put me in remission. I would not be starting for at least two weeks from last Monday as I have more testing of my blood, heart & lungs before hand.

I still prefer GOD's way which is not toxic. I am still praying for complete recovery before the treatment starts so I can tell the doctors there is a more excellent way (1 Corinthians 12:31). Jesus Christ took care of my disease through His broken body on the cross at Calvary
(1 Corinthians 11:24). It is finished (John 19:30). My life is ultimately in the hands of my Heavenly Father (John 10:27-30). The best hands to be in. Amen?

Thank you for your prayers & support.

Doctor's Report

Donna & I met with the doctor on January 23 regarding the results of my bone marrow biopsy. The doctor informed us that the chemo was ineffective & that my bone marrow is really messed up. My blood counts have not recovered since the first chemo treatment in November. The reason is due to the resistant Leukemia cells. My bone marrow is apparently not producing any healthy cells like it is suppose to after chemo. There is other complications as well. One of my chromosones is damaged, which doesn't help either. A bone marrow transplant is not an option any more.

There is nothing more they can do except try an experimental drug that has only been used on 16 people in Canada. The side effects are said to be minimal unlike the chemo treatment. It is also said to be non-toxic. There is apparently no statistics yet as it is to new. Pray for us that we may know if this is something worth trying. We meet with the doctor on January 27 to discuss further details regarding the drug.
